This is how to make a croissant!

There are many different theories about the shape of a croissant. For example, straight croissants are often said to be made with butter, while curved ones are made with margarine or other vegetable-based fats.
Using their shape as a visual distinction makes it easy to tell them apart at a glance—such a fun little detail!
